4 DAY MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH

DAY 1: FES - MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT

After breakfast we will pick you up at your hotel or riad then south to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains. On the way we will stop on cedar forests and Azrou see the monkeys, then we'll travel through midel Atlas mountain pass in Midelt which will break for lunch, then drive to the magnificent Gorges du Ziz, carved into the rock volcanic. Stop for photos on the way to the Ziz Valley, before reaching the desert where you will have room in the Desert Hotel, Dinner and overnight at the desert hotel.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION

You will wake up in the morning to the wonderful, enjoy breakfast in the camp, then camel ride back to the hotel. After cooling off your shower, we will begin the special day to discover the desert by browsing desert villages, and visit the nomadic families to enjoy mint tea with nomads and see how they live their lives, after we break the former coal mine, then black village people (Original are slaves) who played the authentic spiritual music, after we passed through the center of Merzouga, then in the afternoon, you will have about 20 mints to pack what you need for a night in the camp, 9 camel experience mints, dinner and night in the desert camp. (Berber tent).

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - TODRA GORGE - DADES VALLEY

Our trip continues as we departure the desert for Rissani and Erfoud, there we visit the workshops where marble and fossils are cleaned and crafted into wonderful projects. We drive to Tinghir and arrive in the Todra Gorge where we will have lunch and explore this canyon with its 300 metre high vertical walls and crystalline clear water as you walk along the river’s edge. Then after lunch we will drive through the Dades Valley and into the Dades Gorge to see the amazing rock formation known as “the monkey fingers” because of the shapes in the eroded landscape. You will also see the 19th century Kasbah of Ait Youl which is still-standing. We stay overnight in local hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.

DAY 4: DADES GORGE - SKOURA - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

Today we will continue our journey visiting theDades  Gorges which offers a variety of landscapes much greater than the Todra Valley, true gorges and spectacular canyons. We continue via the route of the thousand kasbahs as the most attractive, we will pass by Boutaghrar, continue along the valley until you reach Ouarzazate and cross the High Atlas until you reach Marrackech in the middle of the afternoon, Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
